Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release

MUSKEGON, MI.--- The United Hockey League has released a revised schedule for the remainder of the current 2003-04 season, subsequent to last Friday's announcement of the disbanding of the Columbus Stars.

For the Fury fans, the alterations in the remaining home schedule will be minimal. There will be only one home date change that will take effect. While there will be two other original home dates at Walker Arena in which the Fury's opponent will change.

To detail, specifically, the Fury home date, originally of Friday, January 30th, has been moved to WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10TH, with the Port Huron Beacons providing the opposition for the Fury. Game time for this only new home date is set for 7:00 pm.

The other two adjustments will have Muskegon staying at home on the same dates with the opponent being changed. On SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH, the Fury will play host to the Missouri River Otters, instead of Port Huron, with face-off time remaining at 7:30 pm.

Also, on SUNDAY, APRIL 4TH, the Fury's new opponent will be the Elmira Jackals at Muskegon's Walker Arena with the same game time of 5:00 pm.

For Fury season ticket holders, your tickets for the original January 30th home date will be honored for the re-sched-uled date of March 10th.

The first-place Fury return to home ice this Saturday night, January 17th at 7:30 pm in the second and concluding game of a crucial two game, home-and-home series with the second-place, defending league champions, the Fort Wayne Komets.
