Kalamazoo Wings News Release
KALAMAZOO, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings continue their longest home stand of the season this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Wings Event Center.
Thursday, December 17 marks the second education day game of the season, presented by Rx Optical. Kalamazoo and the visiting Manchester Monarchs will have a special 10:30 a.m. start time from Wings Event Center, as the Wings welcome area schools to combine education and hockey into one day of fun.
Friday and Saturday welcome the Atlanta Gladiators to town, as the Kalamazoo Wings host Bell's Weekend, presented by Bell's Brewery. The first 500 fans through the doors each night will receive Bell's branded cowbells, and the brewery will be setting up around the concourse for tastings and giveaways.
Joining the festivities at Wings Event Center this weekend will be Buddy the Elf on Friday and Saturday nights, and fans in attendance at Saturday's game will have an opportunity to meet and take photos with Santa in the concourse.
The Wings are coming off a weekend in which they went 2-0 by registering wins over the Brampton Beast on December 11 and 12. Joel Martin made 71 of a possible 72 stops over the two contests, and David Gilbert scored three goals, leading Kalamazoo to 4-0, and 3-1 wins, respectively.
Single-game tickets are now on sale! Tickets can be purchased at kwings.com or at the Wings Event Center box office. Box office hours are Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A $2 discount is applied on all tickets purchased before the date of the game.
