FRASER, MI- The Motor City Mechanics were blanked by the Kalamazoo Wings 6-0 Friday night at the Garage in front of 2,441 fans.
The Wings jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period of play and never looked back as they would score three more goals in the final 40 minutes of play.
Kory Karlander scored twice in the evenings game and started the barrage of goals after the 1-0 lead. Joe Seroski helped by adding three of his own for a hat-trick when he finished the trick mid-way through the third period.
After all was said and done the Wings had six players with at least two points. Daniel Carriere (2 assists), Joe Seroski (3 goals, 1 assist), Tyler Willis (2 assists), Tommy Kotsopoulos (2 assists), Adam Elzinga (2 assists) and Kory Karlander (2 goals).
The Mechanics return home tomorrow night when the Port Huron Flags come to town. Tomorrow is also Magnetic Schedule Night courtesy of SVS Vision. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
