Kinston Indians News Release
Kinston finishes up the short homestand with a 6:30 pm start at Historic Grainger Stadium. After a quick three game trip to Myrtle Beach, Kinston will be back in town for the Holiday Weekend, July 2nd - 4th and 6th - 8th!
Chisenhall in Cleveland - Former K-Triber and Eastern North Carolina Native Lonnie Chisenhall came off the DL to hit 14 rbi's and earn International League Player of the Week honors on June 26th. On Monday night Chisenhall made his ML debut in Arizona and managed two hits, including a double and an rbi in an Indians win.
On A Roll - Since the K-Tribe last lost back-to back games May 15th and 16th, the team has reeled off 28 wins and 10 losses. That stretch has also included wins in 10 of 11 series. Kinston is two games shy of the league's best record - both Myrtle Beach and Frederick sit two games better than the K-Tribe at 44-30.
