Junior Ice Girls Program Started

GREENSBORO--First year Greensboro General Ice Girl Heather Hamby has added another title to her name. The former Miss Forsyth County recently won the title of Miss Central Carolina at last weeks Miss America pageant.

Heather has been very active on the local pageant circuit and is now preparing for the upcoming Miss North Carolina pageant.

"I was immediately impressed by Heather's poise, confident and natural talent at our team auditions so it is certainly no surprise to me that she has been selected to represent Central Carolina at the Miss North Carolina Pagent. I wish Heather all the best and we are certainly proud of her accomplishments!" says Ice Girls Director Lisa Aucoin.

JUNIOR ICE GIRLS:

The Greensboro Generals Ice Girls are once again holding a Junior Ice Girls program for children ages 4-13. The six week instructional children program will teach cheerleading basics, while at the same time preparing participants to perform at a Greensboro Generals Hockey Game.

The program begins on January 19th and is held on Monday Night's from 6:00-7:30pm. It will take place at the Greensboro Athletic Center (8029 National Service Road) and costs $150.00 (includes replica Ice Girls uniform, and 2 tickets to their performance at the Saturday February 28th Game
