Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats travel to Mahoning Valley in search of the franchise's first-ever win on Saturday night, kicking off at 7:05pm.
Cincinnati remains the only team in the Midwest Division without a victory. The Thunder, meanwhile, are attempting to extend their lead in the East Division and claim a three game winning streak to start the year. Mahoning Valley, which plays near Youngstown, Ohio, has won their first two games of 2007...a 48-40 win over Tri-Cities and a 64-59 victory against the Albany Conquest.
The Kats, meanwhile, looked much improved against Louisville last Friday night despite the 61-54 loss. The Kats trailed by no more than 10 points at the end of each quarter and hung tough throughout. Kats wide receivers Deontrae Johnson and Derin Graham each caught 3 touchdown passes in a losing effort.
Fans can hear all the action of Saturday's game on 1530 HOMER The Sports Animal beginning at 6:45pm or WATCH the game live via the B2 Networks at www.JungleKatsFootball.com.
