Lubbock Renegades News Release
LUBBOCK, TX: April 19, 2007 - The inaugural Lubbock Renegades of the arenafootball2 announce that their home game schedule for April 29th has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 28th and their game scheduled for May 6th has also been rescheduled for Saturday, May 5th. Both games will kickoff at 7 p.m. and will be against their originally scheduled opponents.
The Renegades have also announced some special changes to ticket structures for the upcoming season after talking to fans and their advisory board at the home opener Sunday. Fans felt the ticket pricing was misleading because it did not include taxes and surcharges applied at the time of purchase. The Renegades have decided to absorb the surcharges and taxes so that the advertised price is what fans will pay when they purchase tickets. Ticket prices in the upper level endzones have also been reduced to $5 for the remainder of the season.
"We are a fan oriented organization," said Renegades Executive Director Clay Powell. "These changes are made to let the fans know that we are listening to them and that we want to do everything it takes to bond the Renegades with the fans."
The Renegades hit the road this weekend with a non-conference game against the Spokane Shock Saturday with a 7 p.m. kickoff. Their next home game is scheduled for Saturday April 28th against the Cypress, Texas based Texas Copperheads at City Bank Coliseum. Individual ticket and corporate sponsorship information is available by contacting the Renegades office at (806) 744-5858. Additional Renegades info can be found online via their official site at www.lubbockrenegades.com.
