Join the P-Nats for Internet Safety Night April 28th

(WOODBRIDGE, VA) - Internet Safety Night returns to the Pfitz April 28th as the Potomac Nationals take on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Texas Rangers affiliate). ISN is an annual night put on by NOVA-DC and SOVA Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces. It involves many youth groups including schools from the area.

The event focuses on educating the children and their parents about safety on the internet. The Nationals work with in the school districts of Prince William County and Fairfax to promote the event and a record number of schools as well as little leagues will be in attendance this year. The school who brings the most children will be rewarded a huge trophy presented on the field during the game that can be displayed on campus.

Trivia will also be going on during the game with thousands of prizes will be awarded to all the children in attendance with the grand rize is an iPad. The Potomac Nationals Internet Safety Nights have averaged over 5,000 in attendance the past three season and they expect to be at full capacity for April 28th.

"We are very fortunate to have such a great relationship with the NOVA-DC and SOVA Task Forces, they do an amazing job to send every parent and child important information on Internet Safety and reward them for their participation," says Potomac Nationals General Manager Josh Olerud. "This is a date we look forward to each and every year but this year especially with all the schools that will be in attendance."

As always on Saturdays at the Pfitz, the game is capped off with a huge fireworks display. Kids will also be allowed to run the bases after the contest between Potomac and Myrtle Beach.
