Johnson and Magette Named to Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team

The NBA G League announced today that Orlando Magic Two-Way player BJ Johnson and Lakeland Magic player Josh Magette have been named to the Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team, as voted on by NBA G League coaches and general managers.

Johnson currently leads the NBA G League in points per game. In 22 games played for the Lakeland Magic this season, Johnson has averaged 23.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals, averaging 35.9 minutes per game.

Magette currently leads the NBA G League in assists per game. In 23 games played for the Lakeland Magic this season, Magette has averaged 20.4 points, 10.3 assists and 2.0 steals, averaging 34.8 minutes per game. Last month, he moved into second place on the NBA G League all-time assists leaderboard. Magette was also named NBA G League Player of the Week in December.

Johnson and Magette have helped lead the Lakeland Magic to the top of the Southeastern Division with a 19-15 record

The Lakeland Magic are back at home on Friday, February 21 to take on the Long Island Nets. Tip-off at the RP Funding Center is set for 7:00 PM. The game will be available on NBAGLeague.com
