Travelers' third baseman Luis Jimenez was named Texas League Player of the Week for the period of June 20-26. He joined fellow Travelers' pitchers Orangel Arenas (May 16-22) and Matt Shoemaker (June 13-19) as TL players of the week.

He has 25 doubles to lead the Texas League and is third in the league in RBIs with 59, two behind San Antonio's James Darnell and Frisco's Tommy Mendonca's 61.
