Jhojan Valencia Obtains Green Card

Austin FC News Release
Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced today that midfielder Jhojan Valencia has obtained a Green Card to become a permanent resident of the United States. Valencia - originally from Cali, Colombia - will no longer occupy an international slot on Austin FC's Major League Soccer (MLS) roster after carrying that designation during the 2022 season.
Austin FC also announced today that the Club has agreed to a trade with Charlotte FC. Austin FC has received $75,000 in 2023 General Allocation Money (GAM) and $100,000 in 2024 GAM in exchange for a 2023 international roster slot.
