Jets Recall Melchiori

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced defenceman Julian Melchiori has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Moose.
Melchiori, 24, has played 62 games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording seven points (3G, 4A) and 46 penalty minutes. He has played two NHL games, including one this season against Vancouver. Melchiori has 32 career AHL points (6G, 26A) in 235 games over five seasons. He was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the third round, 87th overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft.
