Jets Recall Goaltender Michael Hutchinson from IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled goaltender Michael Hutchinson from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Hutchinson, 24, has played in 22 games with the IceCaps this season for a 15-5-1 record, 2.33 goals against average and 0.923 save percentage. The Barrie, ON native has played in 109 career AHL games, between Providence and St. John's, for a 54-42-4 career record. He has also played in 28 games with the ECHL's Ontario Reign this season for a 22-4-2 record, 2.08 goals against average and 0.921 save percentage. He earned CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week honors twice this season - week ending Nov. 17/13 and Jan. 5/14.
He was originally drafted by the Boston Bruins in the third round, 77th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
