Jets Re-Assign Carl Klingberg to St. John's IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have re-assigned forward Carl Klingberg to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

The Winnipeg Jets also announced they have activated forward Blake Wheeler from IR.

Klingberg, 24, appeared in two games for the Jets on his recall on Feb. 21 & 24. He has played in 51 games this season with the St. John's IceCaps collecting 30 points (15G, 15A) and 41 penalty minutes. The product of Gothenburg, SWE has played in 12 NHL games in his career with the Atlanta Thrashers & Winnipeg Jets. He scored his only NHL goal on Apr. 11/14 versus the Calgary Flames. Klingberg was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round, 34th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.
