
Jeff Jarrett to Appear at Trustmark Park Friday

PEARL, MS -- The Mississippi Braves are excited to announce that Jeff Jarrett will appear at Trustmark Park Friday, May 1. The 12-time world heavyweight champion is Founder & CEO of Global Force Wrestling. The Global Wrestling Tour stops at Trustmark Park Saturday, June 20.
Gates open at 6:00 PM for Friday's game. First pitch against the Montgomery Biscuits is slated for 7:00 PM. Jarrett will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs for fans in the M-Braves merchandise store during the game. Fans may call 888-BRAVES4 to reserve their tickets today.
A native a Hendersonville, TN, Jarrett is a third-generation wrestler. He has 74 championships and is a six-time WWF Intercontinental Champion (1999-2004). Jarrett is one of four men to hold both the Intercontinental and European Championships at the same time.

The Mississippi Braves baseball team is the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Since making the move from Greenville, SC, in 2005, over 90 M-Braves have gone on to play in the big leagues.
