Jeff Adrien Earns Player of the Month Honors

MCALLEN, TEXAS - The defending NBA Development League champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced Tuesday that forward Jeff Adrien (6-7, 245, UConn) is the NBA Development League Player of the Month for January.

During the month of January, Adrien averaged 20.7 points, 12.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 11 games (10 starts) while leading the Vipers to a 10-1 record. The Vipers recorded their best single-month winning percentage (.909) and had the second-highest number of total wins in a single-month in franchise history.

Adrien recorded a double-double in 10 games, falling short by one rebound in the other game. He scored a career-high 31 points on January 8 against the Austin Toros and recorded a career-high 16 rebounds (eight offensive) to go with a career-high four blocks on January 12 against the Erie BayHawks.
