(Odessa, TX) - With his father watching in the stands, Jeff Pierce's wrap-around goal at 7:39 of the third period proved to be the game winner as the Jacks topped the Tulsa Oilers, 3-1, at the Ector County Coliseum on Friday night.
Brett McConnachie tied the game up at 1-1 when he scored just six second before Pierce scored the game winner. Odessa's Jean Bourbeau added an insurance goal at 14:43 of the third to make the final score 3-1, Odessa.
Russ Moyer scored the first goal of the game at 2:38 of the first period, just five seconds after Tulsa goalie, Kevin St. Pierre, entered the game after Guy St. Vincent left with an injury.
