Jacks Exhibition Game Moved

Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, a proud member of the Northeast League, announced today that their scheduled exhibition game against the International Baseball Academy of Japan on Wednesday, May 14 has been moved to Husson College.

The Jacks were set to take on the IBA Wednesday night at 6:30 PM at Mahaney Diamond on the campus of the University of Maine in Orono, but rain for the past two days has rendered the field unplayable. The game will instead be played at 11 AM at the John Winkin Complex on the campus of Husson College on Wednesday. The Jacks game against the IBA scheduled for May 13 was cancelled.

The Lumberjacks open the 2003 campaign on the road against the Allentown (PA) Ambassadors on Thursday, May 22, but return to Bangor for the home opener on Friday, May 30 at 7 PM against the New Jersey Jackals at Mahaney Diamond.
