Greenville, SC - The Augusta GreenJackets (41-28, 42-21) finished up their road trip on Monday night with a 6-4 win over the Greenville Drive (40-30, 27-36) winning the three game series. David Mixon recorded the win in relief and Augusta connected for four home runs in the game.
The GreenJackets snapped a 4-4 tie in the fourth inning when Angel Villalona scored from third base on a ball hit by Garrett Baker that third baseman Michael Almanzer booted. Dayton Buller followed with a solo home run for a 6-4 lead.
Mixon (2-2) worked 1.2 shutout innings allowing two hits, a walk and striking out two.
Ryan Paul pitched the ninth allowing a walk and striking out three for his fourth save of the season.
Augusta jumped out to the early lead in the first inning getting a two-run homer from Thomas Neal with two-outs in the inning after Juan Ciriaco worked a walk.
Greenville came right back in the bottom half of the first inning scoring three times for a 3-2 lead. Jered Stanley had a two-run triple and Rafael Cabreja followed with an RBI single.
The GreenJackets tied the game at 3-3 in the second inning on a solo homer from Baker with one out in the inning, his ninth homer of the season.
Augusta took a 4-3 lead in the third on Nick Noonan's eighth home run of the season, an opposite field solo home run with one out.
Greenville again came back though to tie it up in the bottom of the third inning on a two-out RBI single from Penprase.
Augusta starter T.J. Brewer got the no-decision allowing four runs on seven hits over three innings.
Andrew De La Garza worked two shutout innings in relief as the third pitcher used for Augusta after Mixon came in. De La Garza walked one and struck out one.
Mitch Lively worked 1.1 perfect inning striking out three.
The GreenJackets have their final off day of the season on Tuesday then open up a three game home series on Wednesday, August 27 to finish up the home schedule. Augusta welcomes to town the Hickory Crawdads (Pittsburgh Pirates) on Wednesday. The GreenJackets will send left-hander Madison Bumgarner (14-3, 1.45) to the mound to open the series. First pitch on Wednesday night is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

The GreenJackets improved to 38-27 on the road this season, 17-14 in the second half
The GreenJackets have a 5.0 game lead in the Southern Division with six games left.
Augusta matched a season high for most home runs in a game with four, the third time this season.
