ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, look to build off momentum from Sunday's road win in Manchester as they head north to Glens Falls for a Tuesday tilt against the Adirondack Thunder.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals continue their six-game road trip with a visit to Glens Falls, NY to meet the Adirondack Thunder. This game will mark the sixth meeting of the year between the Jackals and the Thunder. The Jackals are 2-3-0-0. The Thunder won the first two meetings, 4-1, in the season opener at First Arena, and 2-1 in the first meeting in Glens Falls, on November 25. Ken Appleby made 60 saves across the two games and Louick Marcotte had three goals for the Thunder. The Jackals responded well, winning the next two meetings. On November 28, the Jackals won, 5-4 in a shootout, where Cason Hohmann and Jacob MacDonald had three point games for Elmira and Niklas Lundstrom made 44 saves for the win. On December 16, the Jackals defeated the Thunder 6-4, when Lundstrom made 31 saves on 32 shots in relief of C. J. Motte, and the Jackals scored on six of 16 shots, as Allan McPherson and Justin Kea each scored twice for Elmira. In the most recent meeting, Kent Simpson won a goaltending duel with Alex Vazzano, recording a 1-0 victory for the Thunder, on January 17. MacDonald, McPherson, and Kea each have two goals for the Jackals on the season series, while Clare, Langkow, and MacDonald lead the team with three assists. MacDonald leads the team with five points.
