Greenville Swamp Rabbits News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, today announced goaltender P.J. Musico has been traded to the Quad City Mallards for future considerations.
Musico, 25, made 13 appearance with the Swamp Rabbits this season, posting a 7-3-1 record with a 2.35 goals-against-average and .925 save percentage. The majority of his playing time occurred during the first half of the season, and the 6'1, 198-pound rookie out of Penn State University had not played a full game with Greenville since December 26.
Home Sweet Home: The Swamp Rabbits return to SANDLAPPER Securities Rink at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena this Saturday for a 8 p.m. puck drop against the Norfolk Admirals. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the GSP Airport Fun Zone special, which features up to four (4) complimentary kid's tickets courtesy of GSP Airport with the purchase of discounted adult tickets at $10! Fans can also follow all of the live action via ECHL.TV or the free Mixlr audio stream.
Rabbits and Tigers in Greenville...Oh My: The Swamp Rabbits, along with Clemson University's men's basketball team, have unveiled a "2-for-$22" ticket special for events at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on February 13, 17 and 19. The deal includes one (1) general admission ticket to the Clemson Tigers men's basketball game on February 13 against Georgia Tech (2 p.m.) as well as one (1) red level seat to the Swamp Rabbits' contest later that night against Norfolk for just $22. Fans may also purchase a package that includes a general admission ticket to the Tigers' February 17 First Responders Night contest against Boston College and a red level ticket to the Swamp Rabbits' February 19 Celebrate Greenville/Heroes Night game against South Carolina. Both offers are only available at the box office.
Reminder: The Swamp Rabbits are offering a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) ticket offer for their next home game on February 13 to all individuals who present an unused game ticket from the January 22 game at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena box office. Season ticket holders and group purchases should contact the Swamp Rabbits office directly at 864-674-PUCK (7825).
