ELMIRA, NY - October 23, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, host the rival Reading Royals tonight for their third annual Pink in the Rink game presented by ArnotHealth. Both the Jackals and Royals enter tonight's matchup with 1-1-0 records.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
Tonight the Jackals host the rival Reading Royals in the third annual Pink in the Rink game presented by ArnotHealth. Proceeds from the night and post-game jersey auction will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation Twin Tiers Region. The matchup marks the first of 12 meetings this season and the first of six at First Arena. Throughout the rivalry these two teams have battled back and forth with the Jackals holding a 50-50-12 record all-time against Reading. Last year, the Royals took home the first annual DeMet's Candy Challenge Cup by winning the season series.
FAST FACTS
? Rookies Cason Hohmann and Matt Garbowsky both scored their first professional goals on Saturday against Brampton.
? Scott Jacklin scored his first professional goal last Friday in his first pro game. The rookie from Kimberley, BC registered 107 points over the past four years at Robert Morris University.
? Leading scorer Allan McPherson recorded three points on Saturday night, which was his sixth multi-point game in 26 career games with Elmira. He was recalled by Rochester Tuesday evening.
? Elmira was dressed two new defensemen tonight as rookies Spiro Goulakos and Josh Chapman have been loaned to the Jackals by the Rochester Americans.
