IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals close out their season series with the Florida Everblades at First Arena tonight at 7:35 p.m. Last night, Cedric McNicoll scored twice in the third period to carry the Everblades past the Jackals for a 3-2 comeback victory. Elmira's lead over the Wheeling Nailers for first place in the Atlantic Division remains at four points with eight games remaining in the 2011-2012 regular season.
RADJA STRIKES AGAIN
Since returning from an 18-game stint with the AHL's Houston Aeros, Mike Radja has had no problem lighting the lamp, scoring goals in four of his first five games back with Elmira. Radja has posted seven tallies in this stretch for a team-best 24 goals this season. The Yorkville, Ill. native has goals in three-straight games (4g-1a).
BOURBEAU BURIES ANOTHER GOAL
Penalty-killing specialist Jean Bourbeau scored his 10th goal of the season on Friday night, as the fourth-year pro from Bonnyville, Alberta is now on a three-game goal streak (3g-1a) and a four-game point streak (3g-2a). Bourbeau's goal streak is his longest of the season while his point streak is tied for his personal best in 2011-2012.
