Tonight's Matchup:
Chicago looks for its fourth straight win tonight as they take on the Trenton Titans for the first time at the Sears Centre Arena. Chicago has played well against the Titans this season, earning seven of eight possible points in their four games in Trenton. The Express earned a big win last night, taking down the Toledo Walleye by the final 5-2 score. The win allowed the Express to keep pace with the Cincinnati Cyclones, who won in Gwinnett to stay just one point ahead of Chicago for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Titans have been having a tough run of things of late, as they have lost nine straight games heading into tonight's contest.
Express Notes:
F Matt Gingera scored his first professional goal last night when he tallied in the third period to put Chicago up 4-2... Chicago's power play has been on fire lately, going five for their last eight chances (62.5%)... The Express have scored 15 goals in their last three games against the Titans... The Express improved to 20-1-4 when leading after two periods of play.
