IN JUST A FEW HOURS...
The Elmira Jackals head to the Garden State to take on the Trenton Devils at 4:00 p.m. at the Sun National Bank Center in the 13th of 16 meetings between the two clubs this season.
JACKALS ALONE IN SIXTH
The Jackals moved into sole possession of sixth place in the Eastern Conference on Saturday night as they took a point in a 2-1 shootout loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators. Wheeling fell in regulation to Kalamazoo on Saturday, giving the Jackals the one-point advantage for sixth.
GOAL-SCORING BATTLE
Justin Donati pulled into a tie with Michael Dubuc for the team lead with 23 goals on Saturday night. Two other Jackals, who are currently with the AHL's Binghamton Senators, are close behind. Yannick Tifu has 22 goals to check in third on the team while Andrew Sweetland's 21 tallies put him in fourth.
