Jackals Announce Transactions

Elmira Jackals News Release


The Elmira Jackals announced on Friday that forwards Corey Cowick and Eric Lampe have been recalled to their two AHL affiliates and that they have released goaltender Alex Petizian.

Cowick, recalled to the Binghamton Senators, has 13 points (5g-8a) in 30 games with Elmira this season while adding four points (1g-3a) with the B-Sens in 2010-2011. The Gloucester, Ontario native was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Lampe, recalled to the Syracuse Crunch, leads Jackals rookies with 34 points (17g-17a) this season. He has two goals and an assist in seven games with the Crunch in 2010-2011.

Petizian did not participate in a game with Elmira.
