March 4, 2011 - ECHL (ECHL)
Victoria Salmon Kings News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, remind fans that they will host their "Hockey Night in Canada" game tomorrow evening versus the Bakersfield Condors.
For tomorrow night's contest only, Vancouver Canucks' national anthem singer Mark Donnelly will be in attendance to sing the pre-game anthems. Donnelly will also be signing autographs in the main concourse prior to the game and during the first intermission at the Kings Corner season ticket lounge.
An autographed Roberto Luongo Vancouver Canucks jersey is being auctioned off to all fans and will be on display at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for all three games this week. Fans can bid on the jersey by visiting the link on the main page of www.salmonkings.com, while it will be awarded during the game tomorrow night.
Additionally, there will be a chance to win an authentic jersey from the Manitoba Moose, Victoria's American Hockey League affiliate, by entering the Coolest Jersey in the Crowd contest! Every fan at tomorrow's game wearing a sports jersey will be given a ballot to be filled out at the Salmon Kings' ticket information booth. At the end of the night one lucky ballot will be drawn to win the jersey! All entrants will also get a special ticket offer coupon from the Salmon Kings' ticket sales staff.
Doors to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre will open one hour earlier (5:00 p.m.) tomorrow to the general public, while the "Kings Corner" season ticket holder lounge will be transformed in to the "Molson Lounge" and will be available to the general public. Molson will have $6.50 beer products available in the lounge, while the Molson Taster Girls will be in attendance!
Prior to the Salmon Kings' game tomorrow night versus Bakersfield, the University of Victoria Vikes hockey team will play at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre at 2:00 p.m. versus the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack. Tickets to the UVic game will be available at the door for $5, but a combo deal of a ticket to both the UVic and Salmon Kings' games will also be available for just $15! Victoria Salmon Kings season ticket holders who show their ticket to the Saturday night game, can get in 'by donation' at the door as well.
