Macon Mayhem News Release
The Macon Mayhem is making friends in high places. and it's harder to get any higher than the U.S. Air Force.
Members of the Mayhem team visitied Robins Air Force base on Fridayto help with re-opening of the Heritage Club.The club had been closed for recent repairs. Heritage Club manager James Campbell welcomed several players and gave out tickets to upcoming games as door prizes.
An enthusiastic crew of air force personnel met several players. They visited about hockey and the duites the air force performs. Players told them about the upcoming military extravanganza the Mayhem will be hosting for its next three home games, Feb. 4-6. For those games all military personnel (retired, active, reserve) can get tickets for only $10.
The Mayhem will also be wearing special military themed jerseys for those three games. Among those who greeted and talked with the players were base vice commander Colonel Dawn Lancaster and mission support group commander Colonel Jarvis Baker.
The Mayhem play at Pensacola Saturday and Sunday.
