
Peoria Sets SPHL Records for Consecutive Wins, Road Wins

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (January 23, 2016) - The Peoria Rivermen set new SPHL records for the longest winning streak and longest road winning streak in league history on Saturday, posting their 13th consecutive win and 11th straight on the road in their 2-1 win over the Columbus Cottonmouths.
Peoria's 13 consecutive wins surpasses the old record of 12, set by the Richmond Renegades from January 4-February 2, 2008. The Rivermen's road win Saturday also broke the old mark of 10 straight, set by the Pensacola Ice Flyers from February 8-March 22, 2014.
