Tulsa Roughnecks FC travel to Colorado Springs to take on the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in USL Championship Western Conference play. Kickoff from Weidner Field is set for 6:00 P.M. CT (Saturday, July 13th, 2019) and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Saturday's match will be the second time the two sides faceoff this season. The first meeting saw Tulsa Roughnecks FC defeating Colorado Springs Switchbacks 2-0.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC enter the match sitting in 16th place in the Western Conference, but are only five points off of the coveted 10th place playoff spot. Colorado Springs Switchbacks sit at 17th in the Western Conference standings, four points behind Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
Colorado Springs Switchbacks enter the match with a streak of four straight loses. In their four loses, they have been outscored 12-2. Their leading scorer, Jordan Burt, has five goals on the season and scoring 19% of his shots this year.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC are looking to build off of their last performance, where they gained a point on the road in a hard fought match against Timbers 2. Rodrigo Da Costa bagged his 6th goal of the year against Timbers 2 this past week. Calvin Rezende made his first appearance for Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
