TOEING THE RUBBER: David Holman made his first start of the 2019 campaign for the Isotopes, taking the loss as he allowed three runs in 3.0 innings ... Kenny Koplove struck out five batters 3.0 innings of relief. Koplove's strikeout total is the highest for an Isotopes reliever this season ... Justin Lawrence and Jesus Tinoco threw back-to-back scoreless innings to end the contest.
AT THE DISH: Both of Albuquerque's runs came in the fifth inning. Koplove used a safety squeeze bunt to bring home the first run and Sam Hilliard drove in the second with an RBI double to left ... Hilliard was the only Isotope to record multiple hits on the night, going 2-for-4.
TOPES TIDBITS: The loss snapped Albuquerque's winning streak at four games, which already matched their longest streak from 2018 ... Two Isotopes made their Triple-A debuts Tuesday with Koplove and outfielder Mylz Jones both making their first appearances with Albuquerque ... Outfielder Yonathan Daza was called up by the Rockies Tuesday and became the second Isotope this season to make their MLB debut.
