Save It: Reliever Nick Gardewine became the first Sounds pitcher to notch a save this year with his 1.2 inning save last night. It was the 17th save of Gardewine's career. Among Nashville relievers, Zac Curtis has the most career saves with 66. CD Pelham has the second-most with 28.
Thrice is Nice for Ibáñez: Nashville infielder Andy Ibáñez joined the Sounds a couple days into the season after beginning campaign back in Arizona due to an oblique injury.
