After 151 days and 143 games, the IronPigs (75-68) play their 2012 season finale against the last-place Buffalo Bisons (67-76) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-0 win last night, the Pigs snapped a three-game skid. Still, the Pigs have dropped five of their last seven affairs and, since July 6, have gone just 24-32 -- going from a season-high 3.0 games up to a season-high 9.0 games back in the North... The Bisons -- the Mets' top affiliate -- snapped a three-game winning streak which followed up a 7-16 span. Once 49-45, the Bisons have gone just 18-31 since July 14.

RHP Scott Elarton (6-11, 5.41) will start for LHV against RHP Dylan Owen (4-9, 6.28).

Today is Fan Appreciation Day at Coca-Cola Park... First-Pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m.

MEMORABLE SWAN SONGS:

LHV has gone 2-2 in season finales... Last season, the Pigs won 4-1 on 9/5 @ SYR to clinch the Wild Card in a rain-shortened, six-inning game (1:44)... In 2010, LHV and SWB went 12 innings before the Yanks won, 4-3 (3:39)... On 9/7/09, LHP Brian Mazone started a 3-0 SHO against Buffalo (2:18)... Their first season finale was a 9-2 loss to RHP Bartolo Colon on 9/1/08 @ PAW (2:22).
