EVEN STEVEN: The Red Wings finished 72-72 for their first non-losing season since 2008, when they were 74-70...the Wings finish in sole possession of 4th place in the 6-team International League North Division, their best finish since placing 4th in 2009 with a 70-74 record.

WOW: At 72-72, the Red Wings in 2012 won 19 more games than last year (53-91) and 23 more than in 2010 (49-95).

QUITE THE TURNAROUND: The Red Wings went 52-42 after sitting a season-worst 10 games below .500 at 20-30 on May 28.

FRONTIER FINDINGS: The Red Wings went 43-37 at Frontier Field, including a 39-33 mark as the home team.

THANK YOU: The Red Wings welcomed 414,398 fans to Frontier Field for 72 home games, an average of 5,755 per game.

LONG DIVISION: The Red Wings finished just 32-48 against IL North Division opponents...they went a combined 40-24 against the IL West and South.

HERE'S TO BOBBY: The Red Wings' pitching staff posted a 4.06 ERA, its lowest since a 3.64 ERA in 2007.

AND THE TONY GOES TO...: Anthony Slama recorded the final 2 outs to notch the 100th save of his pro career, including 36 at the Triple-A level with the Red Wings...he led the team with 14 in 2012.

IF THERE'S A WILKIN THERE'S A WAY: Wilkin Ramirez collected his 54th RBI, breaking a tie with Matt Carson for the team lead in the final game of the season.

CRAZY PARMELEE: Chris Parmelee led the Red Wings with 17 home runs, despite playing in only 64 games.

GRANDOISE OCCASION: Shairon Martis's 4th-inning strikeout of Corey Brown was the 1,000th for Red Wings' pitchers.

MY FAVORITE MARTIS: Shairon Martis went 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA (6 ER/20.1 IP) in his final 3 starts.
