Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (40-29) play Game Two of a four-game series against the third-place Toledo Mud Hens (30-41) at Fifth Third Field... With a 6-3 win last night, the Pigs have started 1-0 on this eight-game West Division road trip. The Pigs have now won nine of their last 12 games and have gone 12-5 in their last 17 contests... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have now gone just 3-12 in their last 15 affairs. After starting 22-17, the Hens are just 8-24 (.333) since May 16.
RHP Scott Elarton (5-2, 4.12) will start against LHP Adam Wilk (2-7, 3.34).
First-Pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS...:
* Set a season-best, high-water mark of 12 games above .500 -- their highest mark since ending the 2011 season at 80-64.
