Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (37-27) play the finale of a four-game series against the fifth-place Syracuse Chiefs (31-34) at Alliance Bank Stadium... With a 4-1 win last night, the Pigs have won six of their last seven games and have gone 9-3 in their last 12 contests... The Chiefs -- Washington's top affiliate -- have still won five of their last eight games. After starting 10-20 upon last leaving Lehigh Valley on May 6, the Chiefs have gone 21-14 in their last 35 affairs.
RHP Scott Elarton (5-2, 3.36) will start for LHV against RHP Mitch Atkins (4-5, 4.33).
First-Pitch is at 10:30 a.m... The Pigs are off on Wednesday...

* Set a season-best, high-water mark of 11 games above .500 -- their highest mark since ending the 2011 season at 80-64.
* Tie their season-best, three-game road winning streak -- which was done 5/10-12 @ IND (1), @ LOU (2).
