Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (48-76) play Game Three of a four-game series against the fourth-place Pawtucket Red Sox (54-70) -- Boston's top affiliate. With a doubleheader split last night (W, 4-1; L, 2-0), the Pigs have now gone 2-4 on this eight-game, North Division road trip. Lehigh Valley is just 4-18 in its last 22 affairs after winning six of seven, July 19-25... Pawtucket has dropped eight of its last 12 games -- and, since posting a 43-50 record on July 16, the Paw Sox have gone just 11-20 (.355) in their past 31 contests.
RHP Vance Worley (0-2, 4.32) will start for LHV against RHP Adam Mills (2-8, 5.27).
First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m. at McCoy Stadium.
