Norfolk Tides News Release
Four different Tides batters collected three hits in the game, with Robert Andino leading the charge by going 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Matt Angle finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored, while Brandon Snyder had three hits and two RBI and Nolan Reimold finished 3-for-4 with a run scored.
With the three hits Thursday, Reimold has now reached base safely in 30 of his last 31 games, as he's hit .321 (34-for-106) with four home runs, 15 RBI and 29 walks over that span.
The Durham Bulls also collected 14 hits in the win, as five different batters had multiple hits. Leslie Anderson homered and drove in two for the Bulls, who lowered their magic number in the IL South division to three with the win.
The two clubs will square off again Friday night at Harbor Park, with first pitch slated for 7:15. Zach Britton (2-2, 3.12) will take the hill for Norfolk against right-hander Ramon Ortiz, who will be making his Durham Bulls debut.
