Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The sixth-place IronPigs (18-33) play Game Three of a four-game series this morning at Fifth-Third Field against the second-place Toledo Mud Hens (30-22) -- Detroit's top affiliate. After getting swept in a doubleheader last night (5-3, 3-0), the 'Pigs are on a season-long, six-game losing streak and have started 0-6 on this eight-game, West Division road trip. In addition, Lehigh Valley has gone just 7-19 in its last 26 affairs... Toledo has won four in a row and is 12-4 in its last 16 games -- improving from 18-18 on May 14 to 30-22 today. In addition, the Hens have won eight straight contests at Fifth-Third Field.
RHP Brandon Duckworth (1-1, 2.89) will start for LHV against RHP Alfredo Figaro (4-2, 3.44).
First-Pitch today is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
