IronPigs Begin Series at Durham

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will open a three-game set with the Durham Bulls on Friday night. First pitch from Durham Bulls Athletic Park is set for 7:05 p.m.

RHP David Buchanan (3-4, 4.77) will be on the bump for the Pigs in the series opener. The right-hander got a no-decision on Sunday vs. Buffalo when he gave up three runs on nine hits while fanning four in 7.2 IP. Buchanan will be making his first start of the year against Durham.

LHP Adam Wilk (2-7, 3.70) gets the ball for the Bulls opposite Buchanan on Friday night. Wilk was tagged with the loss on Sunday at Norfolk after allowing eight runs on ten hits to go along with three walks and four strikeouts in 4.2 IP. Wilk is 5-1 with a 2.70 ERA in six career starts against the Pigs.

Dating back to May 28, IronPigs OF Cedric Hunter is hitting .347-1-14 (25-72, 5 2B, 2 BB, 9 R).
