
Iowa Wolves Waive Two Players

DES MOINES - The Iowa Wolves, the G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, announced today the team waived guards Gary Chivichyan and Art Labinowicz.
Chivichyan was acquired in a draft day trade with the Lakeland Magic after being selected by the Magic in the second round (35th overall) of the 2021-22 NBA G League Draft. Chivichyan played six minutes in the Wolves' preseason win over G League Ignite.
Labinowicz was originally drafted by the Iowa Wolves in the third round (75th overall) of the 2021-22 NBA G League Draft. Labinowicz logged 11 minutes and scored eight points in the team's lone preseason game against G League Ignite.
