Iowa Energy Fall to Sioux Falls Skyforce

Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Iowa Energy (5-4) fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (4-6) 124-105 Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Skyforce were led Miami Heat assignees Shabazz Napier with 22 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists and Hassan Whiteside with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists. The Heat assigned both players to the Skyforce Saturday morning after their loss to Iowa last night in Sioux Falls.

The Energy were led by Memphis Grizzlies assignee Jordan Adams with a game-high 29 points and 9 rebounds. Kalin Lucas added 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Skyforce jumped out to an early first quarter lead and would go on to lead the game wire-to-wire, eventually leading by as many as 22 points. Sioux Falls took a 57-49 lead into halftime and before pulling away for good in the third quarter. The Energy were able to close the gap several times, with the Skyforce pulling away again each time.

The Energy play at home again this Friday, December 19 at 7pm at Wells Fargo Arena.
