Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
The Kannapolis Intimidators and King's Way Baptist Church have teamed up to host a special Post Game Christian Music Concert and Fireworks Extravaganza. On Sunday, June 27th immediately following the Intimidators game vs. the Hickory Crawdads, the King's Way Baptist Praise Band will take the stage and get the crowd ready for the featured act, Warren Barfield. This special night will be capped off with a breathtaking fireworks extravaganza. The event is also part of the New Life 91.9 Summer Tour.
Barfield, a pastor's son and Charlotte, NC native began singing and playing the guitar as a child. Barfield has ministered to thousands during events such as national, regional, state and local youth conferences, schools, and colleges. He recently even had the opportunity to perform at a youth conference in Russia. He has opened for a number of top Christian artists including: Clear, Russ Lee, Scott Krippayne, Anointed and Crystal Lewis.
"We are constantly trying to create exciting and affordable activities for Kannapolis, Concord and all of our surrounding communities to enjoy." says Tim Mueller, GM of the Intimidators. "We are thrilled to have such a great partnership with King's Way Baptist Church and look forward to welcoming Mr. Barfield to our beautiful stadium. June 27th will be a great example of what two community minded organizations can accomplish when working together."
