
Rome Begins Crucial Home Stand

Rome, GA â The Rome Braves begin a crucial nine game home stand Saturday night against the Savannah Sand Gnats. Currently the Braves are tied with Columbus in the Southern Division, 2.5 games behind league leading Charleston, SC. The Braves will play Savannah, Columbus, and Charleston, SC during the home stand, which promises to bring great baseball and fun promotions as well.
Tomorrow night the first 1000 fans with paid admission receive mini coolers complements of Cowboys Food Mart and Q102. Other promotional games include a paper airplane contest on Tuesday presented by Delta Airlines with the winner receiving two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental United States. Wednesday is a businessperson's special 1pm start presented by Talk Radio WLAQ and it's two for one beverage night on Thursday with a live band performing in the Budweiser Beach Club following the game. The Blues Brothers Act will be performing during the game next Saturday night, June 19th, presented by K98.
