
Intimidators Take Series Opener 4-2 In Lexington

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators received 6.2 great innings from starter Juan Moreno and Henry Mabee earned his 13th save of the season as Kannapolis knocked off Lexington 4-2 at Applebee?s Park.
Moreno made just his third start of the season and cruised into the seventh without allowing a run. In the seventh he gave up two runs before handing things over to Miguel Socolovich to end the frame. Socolovich set down the Legends in the eighth before Mabee worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning for the save.
Offensively, Sergio Morales drove in two runs. John Curtis and Dale Mollenhauer each picked up two hits.
The Intimidators continues a four-game series with the Legends tomorrow night. First pitch is set for 7:05pm. The Intimidators are back at home Monday night against Greensboro for a 7:05pm first pitch. Call 704-932-FANS for tickets or buy them online at intimidatorsbaseball.com.
