Intimidators, Sand Gnats Rained Out

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 11, 2014) - Tonight's game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and Savannah Sand Gnats has been postponed due to rain at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Because tonight's contest was the final regular-season meeting between the two teams, the game will not be made up. Tickets from tonight's game can be exchanged for a ticket for any remaining Intimidators regular season home game during the 2014 season. Exchanges can be made at the F&M Bank Box Office.

The Intimidators continue the home stand on Thursday against the Greensboro Grasshoppers (Miami Marlins) to open a 4-game series. Gates open at 6 p.m. with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. on Thirsty Thursday featuring discounted drinks and post-game Launch-A-Ball presented by Dick's Sporting Goods.

On Friday, the first 1,000 fans will receive an action photo of former Kannapolis Intimidators slugger and current Houston Astro Chris Carter as part of our Legends Series presented by SignsFast.

Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game will be followed by fireworks presented by Bank of America. On Sunday, the Intimidators wrap up the first half with a special 2:05 p.m. start time for Father's Day, and dads and kids can play catch on the field before the game. This Sunday is also Kid's Splash Day presented by Kannapolis Parks & Recreation.
