
Intimidators all-star earns promotion

(Kannapolis, NC) â Intimidators outfielder Tom Brice has been promoted to Winston-Salem the team announced after Monday night's 4-3 win over Hickory.
Brice, voted as the starting left fielder for the Northern Division in the South Atlantic League's annual mid-season all-star game, leaves Kannapolis batting .315 with 7 home runs and 32 RBI. The native of Mile End, Australia went 3-4 with a pair of doubles in Monday night's win.
The Warthogs send outfielder Ricardo Nanita to Kannapolis replacing Brice on the active roster. In 51 games with Winston-Salem, Nanita was batting .240 with 2HR and 27 RBI.
Kannapolis returns home to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium 7:05pm Tuesday night vs. Charleston following a three game sweep in Hickory. The Intimidators were 4-1 on the road trip. To order tickets for this home stand or any Intimidators game, please call (704) 932-3267.
