Inter Miami CF to Host South Georgia Tormenta FC in First-Ever U.S. Open Cup Match at DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami CF News Release

Inter Miami CF is set to host South Georgia Tormenta FC at DRV PNK Stadium in the Round of 32 of the 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The match, which will be played on May 10 or 11, will be the first of the historic single-elimination competition at DRV PNK Stadium.

The final date, kickoff time and ticketing information will be announced at a later time.

Inter Miami advanced to the Round of 32 after defeating Miami FC 0-1 at FIU Stadium on Tuesday, April 19 in the club's first-ever U.S. Open Cup match. Ecuadorian forward Leonardo Campana, who earned Heineken Man of the Match Honors, scored his fourth goal in the last three games to lead Inter Miami to its third consecutive victory, while the team secured its second straight clean sheet.
