Jason Kreis

He will remain the head coach of the U-23 U.S. Men's National Team, which is set to compete in the qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympics 2021. Kreis has established a storied career in MLS both as a player and a coach. He won the 1999 MLS MVP, becoming the first American-born player to win the award, held the record of MLS all-time top scorer from 2004 to 2007, currently sits eighth in league history and was the first player to score 100 MLS goals. As a coach, he made history in 2009 with Real Salt Lake, becoming the youngest head coach in MLS history (34) to win MLS Cup. Kreis has also helmed New York City FC (2013-2015) and Orlando City SC (2016-2018) as head coach during the early stages of their time in MLS.
Nicholas Lewis
Lewis, the Club's new Sports Scientist, spent over three years (2014-2018) as the Portland Timbers' Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and Data Analyst. He also worked with the U.S. Soccer Federation (2019) and D.C. United (2013), and has experience consulting in the strength and conditioning, sports science and data acquisition fields for various institutions.
Mark Mason
Mason will serve as Assistant Coach, Director of Goalkeeping and Set Piece Specialist. He most recently worked alongside Neville as Goalkeeper Coach of the England Women's National Team (2016-2021), where he helped take England to a second-place finish in the 2018 SheBelieves Cup, a title-winning run in the 2019 SheBelieves Cup, and an undefeated 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualification run.
He has held several additional positions throughout his 14-year career in English soccer, including being Head Academy Goalkeeper Coach for Ipswich Town FC (2009-2010), Technical Development Officer for Southend United Football Club (2010), Head Academy Goalkeeper Coach for Portsmouth Football Club (2010-2012) and Head of Academy Goalkeeping for Brighton & Hove Albion FC (2012-2016).
Miguel Motolongo
Motolongo, the former Athletic Trainer for the U.S. Soccer Federation (2020-2021), steps in as the Head of MLS Performance. He brings years of industry experience having served as Athletic Trainer (2012-2014) and Strength Conditioning Coach (2014) at Florida State University as well as Assistant Athletic Trainer for LAFC (2018-2020).
Anthony Pulis
Assistant Coach Pulis brings both domestic and international experience to the team. He played professionally in England for 10 years before moving to the U.S. to play for Orlando City SC in 2012, where he won two USL Pro regular season titles and the league championship in 2013. Pulis began his coaching career with Orlando City during the club's MLS expansion season in 2015 as an Assistant Coach before taking the Head Coach position with the USL team OCB in 2016. Prior to joining the Inter Miami's coaching staff in 2020, Pulis was the head coach of Saint Louis FC in the USL Championship for over two years.
Sebastián Saja
Saja was promoted from the Inter Miami CF Academy before the 2020 season and will once again be a part of the technical staff this season, taking on the role of Assistant Goalkeeper Coach. The Argentine had a long playing career as a goalkeeper before coaching. He played for several different teams before retiring in 2017, spending the most time with Club Atlético San Lorenzo de Almagro and Racing Club in Argentina's first division. He also received four senior caps for the Argentine national team.
Alec Scott
Scott joins Neville's staff as Performance Analyst following nearly eight years working for the English Football Association (The FA). In that time, he was Senior Team Assistant Performance Analyst for the England Men's National Team (2013-2016), Performance Analyst for the England Men's Under-20's National Team (2016-2021) and Senior Team Lead Analyst for the England's Women National Team (2018-2021), working alongside Neville and being part of the staff that helped the team win the 2019 SheBelieves Cup title and achieve an undefeated 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualification run.
Scott was also Academy Performance Analyst for Everton FC's (2009-2010), where he also crossed paths with Neville, and Performance Analyst and Sport Scientist for Liverpool F.C. (2010-2013).
Brett Uttley
Uttley served as Assistant Coach and Video Analyst for Inter Miami in 2020 and will remain with the technical staff for the 2021 MLS season as Assistant Analyst. Prior to joining the Club, he held the position of the first assistant coach for Rio Grande Valley FC, the second team of the Houston Dynamo playing in the USL Championship.
