Kinston looks to take the series from Potomac in the final game of a homestand today at 2pm at Historic Grainger Stadium. Hometown hero Lonnie Chisenhall has a season high 12 game hit streak.
This Place Has Seen Some Great Baseball - Kinston is 3330-2976 in the 46 years it has played in the Carolina League. The .530 winning percentage is the third best All-Time in the Carolina League behind Wilmington (.545 just 17 years in the league) and High Point-Thomasville (.534 just 7 years in the CL). The K-Tribe has won six Carolina League titles, 13 Division titles and have been to the playoffs 23 times while housed at Grainger Stadium.
